"My family and I had the opportunity to stay at the Fort Young Hotel this month during Hurricane Dean. We checked into 2 rooms with spectacular views on August 14th 2007. The care, concern and "service with a smile" that the staff and management delivered during the storm was absolutely remarkable. All the guests were checked on regularly throughout the day. The staff and management all ran around during the storm in hard hats to ensure the guest safety. The staff delivered service with a smile in the eye of the storm. The General Manager, Mr. Louis Julien seemed to be everywhere before, during and after the storm. He and his staff appeared to motivate each other and I was impressed."
