Fort Young Hotel is thrilled to celebrate Buddy Dive’s second year anniversary on August 1, 2017. One of the most notable attractions among hotel guests, island visitors and locals, Buddy Dive is Dominica’s premier Caribbean Diving Company that offers everything a diver may need—from rental gear to souvenirs—and curates unforgettable adventures, such as whale watching tours and land excursions.
The vision for Buddy Dive came to fruition in 2014, when Fort Young Hotel established a partnership with the shop, located directly adjacent to the property. It wasn’t until August 1, 2015 that Buddy Dive officially opened its doors in affiliation with Fort Young Hotel. Two years later, we are proud to celebrate such progress and development. While the storefront started with just one boat and three staff members, Buddy Dive now has three boats and eleven staff members who provide quality services and display the utmost professionalism.
As Dominica’s top dive destination, Buddy Dive is committed to providing extensive knowledge, resources, and first-class facilities while offering divers—regardless of level of experience—the most helpful and personal attention. Buddy Dive’s professionals have the reputation of keeping the needs of divers in mind, making it easy, comfortable and convenient for everyone.
