Dominica’s Fort Young Hotel Returns as Go-To Retreat in the Caribbean

Since welcoming back guests to Fort Young Hotel in January 2018, we are delighted to share that the hotel is near full capacity, all by virtue of leisure travelers from near and far. With our prized landmark location in Dominica’s capital city, along with many of the country’s sites reopening nearby, we are once again the go-to hotel for travelers, adventure seekers, corporate retreats and locals alike.

“We’re thrilled to see so much interest in Dominica and Fort Young Hotel in the past few months from leisure travelers, groups and corporate visitors,” said Marvlyn James, Fort Young Hotel’s general manager. “We anticipate continued momentum throughout the remainder of 2018.” Dominica’s recovery efforts are thriving, with many of the island’s most popular attractions reopen, including Indian River, Emerald Pool, Cabrits National Park and Trafalgar Falls, among others.

With Fort Young Hotel’s new “Caribbean Adventure Getaway” package, guests will receive four nights’ accommodations, full daily breakfast, airport transfer, tours of three of Dominica’s most celebrated attractions—Titou Gorge, Trafalgar Falls and Emerald Pool—and canyoning in the rainforest. There’s simply no better way to experience the island’s reemerging splendor than with this guided exploration package, valid until December 14, 2018.

Currently, 41 of our 72 rooms are available for booking, in addition to many of the core amenities, including the pool, waterfront Warner’s Bar, in-room spa services and one of the meeting facilities now open for guests to enjoy. Our newest amenities include Jacko’s, a poolside bar, and an expanded boardwalk. We are looking forward to fully reopening in February 2019. But, for now, we’re welcoming guests with open arms—along with countless, unforgettable experiences for each and every person to enjoy.
